Our gear is used in various applications such as Transformer Incomers, Motor Feeders, Capacitor Switches, Distribution Feeders, Current Transformers/Voltage Transformer (Metering) panels. “LM” switchgear is in service in Power Stations, Distribution Substations, Mobile Substations, Chemical Factories, Mines (Steel, Copper, Diamond, etc), Residential Buildings, Hospitals, Airports, Docks, Sewage Treatment Plants and Drilling Rigs.

Installation & Commissioning
 
 
RPS Switchgear offers a complete installation and commissioning package for client’s switchgear. This service is available for most makes of switchgear, and can be for all or any part of the process such as just the installation. RPS Switchgear has the experience, expertise and equipment to meet all your installation and commissioning requirements.

  • Preparation of installation & test plans
  • Complete switchgear installation to manufacturer's requirements
  • High voltage pressure tests
  • Millivolt drop (ducter) tests
  • Secondary wiring insulation tests
  • Full mechanical checks.
  • Full functional tests on protection and control schemes.
  • Primary and secondary injection tests on all current transformers, voltage transformers and protection relays.
